Water Intrusion
- Water and electronics make for strange bedfellows. Water can destroy electronics or save it. During a flood event the switching gear was powered down prior to an imminent flood to minimize the impact; however, after the water receded, silt had infiltrated every feature of the equipment. Restoration of service was the paramount concern and accomplished using resources on hand while a long-term remedy was prepared.
